In this YouTube video, I review the performance of AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames 2 using the Sapphire PURE Radeon RX 7700 XT FrostPunk 2 Edition graphics card across six popular games: Final Fantasy 16, Cyberpunk 2077, HellDivers 2, Fire in the Hole, Star Wars Outlaws, and Black Myth Wukong.
I demonstrate how enabling features like FSR 3 and frame generation significantly boosts frame rates in most games, often pushing performance into the 80s, 90s, and even over 140 FPS in titles like FrostPunk 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. For some games, such as HellDivers 2, the card performs exceptionally well without additional upscaling or frame generation, maintaining smooth gameplay in the 80s and 90s FPS range.
However, in more demanding games like Black Myth Wukong and Starwars Outlaws, enabling Fluid Motion Frames made a noticeable difference, improving performance from the 40s and 50s up to the 80s and beyond.
