In this video, I show the complete post-build PC setup process from start to finish using a Hello Kitty–themed PC build inside the HYTE x50 pink case. Starting with a brand-new computer with no operating system installed, I walk through flashing the BIOS, configuring BIOS settings, and preparing the system for a clean Windows 11 installation on an AMD AM5 platform which would help on your
first PC build.
You’ll see how to create Windows 11 installation media, download the latest MSI motherboard BIOS, install AMD chipset drivers, graphics card drivers, LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio drivers, and properly configure EXPO RAM profiles for maximum performance and stability. I also cover UEFI settings, Resize BAR, Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO), memory context restore, and common BIOS options every AMD build should use.
During setup, we troubleshoot real-world issues, including a liquid CPU cooler failure, and replace it with a Corsair iCUE Link Titan AIO, followed by RGB synchronization, fan curve setup, and firmware updates using MSI Center, Corsair iCUE, and Kingston Fury RGB software. I also show how to initialize and format additional M.2 NVMe SSD storage in Windows. This is a Windows 11 clean install.
