In this video, I compare my longtime favorite headset, the HyperX Cloud III Wireless, against the new Corsair Void 2 Wireless.
I walk through setup in iCUE, lighting effects, EQ presets, and Dolby Atmos support. The Void 2 impressed me right away with strong directional audio, deeper bass, and a clearer microphone compared to the Cloud III, which sounded more muffled and airy.
Battery life is still better on the HyperX (up to 120 hours), but the Void 2 holds its own with 70 hours on the dongle. Comfort-wise, the cloth earcups and lighter build of the Void 2 made it feel better over long sessions than the leatherette Cloud III.
Both are cross-platform, but the Void 2 has USB-C, Bluetooth, and better range. The Cloud III is still solid, but after a month of testing, the Void 2 takes the crown for me — clearer mic, fuller sound, and better overall comfort.
